Work with us
Innately Science develops scientists through experience, and that only works in partnership.
If you run a programme that teaches by immersion, lead an institution that wants more for its people, or are building a life in science and looking for guidance, we want to hear from you.
Programme design and consultancy
We are able to design science education programmes for organisations that want more than a syllabus. That work could be in the form of a single creative collaboration, a new strand inside an existing curriculum, and whole programmes built from nothing, but it will always begin the same way: with what your people actually need, and what you want them to become.
It draws on the conviction running through everything here, that people are formed by experience rather than by information. A programme designed on that basis feels different to be inside, and it lasts longer in the people who go through it.
Projects we take on:
- Experiential programme design, building science education that develops judgement and purpose alongside knowledge, for schools, universities, institutes and community organisations.
- Creative collaborations, bringing scientists together with artists, makers and communities to produce something neither would have made alone.
- Curriculum and strand development, designing the part of your provision that the standard syllabus cannot reach.
- Staff development, training educators and researchers to teach and communicate science with clarity, creativity and confidence.
- Public engagement with substance, outreach and events built on real pedagogy rather than spectacle.
- Programme review, an honest read on an existing programme and what would make it more human, more ethical and more memorable.
We work as collaborators rather than suppliers, and we are glad to start with a conversation rather than a proposal.
Science Through Art workshops
Bring the workshop series to your people: sessions that develop observation, interpretation and communication through creative practice, for schools, universities and organisations. No scientific background required.
Join the Field Learning Network
For sanctuaries, field programmes, research institutes, universities, community initiatives and organisations that develop people by immersing them in real work. Joining means sharing what you do with the next generation, and shaping how they practise.
Mentorship
For emerging scientists, educators and communicators working out their direction and finding their voice. And for established scientists who want to nurture the next generation: mentoring a cohort is one of the most direct ways to put your experience where it will compound.
