Creativity & Curiosity workshops

Plant Hammering Innately Science Workshop

The Innately Science Creative & Curiosity Workshops have brought together science, art, and storytelling to spark wonder, empathy, and deep thinking in learners of all ages. Rooted in the belief that curiosity is the cornerstone of meaningful learning, this project has empowered individuals to explore scientific ideas through creative lenses - from nature to movement, metal clay, and imaginative inquiry.

Across our UK workshops, we’ve:

  • Inspired curiosity in students through hands-on, interdisciplinary sessions blending science with artistic expression.

  • Promoted global citizenship and emotional literacy through themed sessions that encouraged reflection on identity, empathy, and interconnectedness.

  • Reached diverse communities making science more accessible and engaging for a wide range of learners.

  • Pioneered an approach where science education isn’t just about facts, but about wonder, creativity, and storytelling.

As we approach our final UK workshop in May, we’re celebrating the incredible conversations, curiosity, and community this project has cultivated. While this chapter closes, the spirit of Innately Science lives on - in every question sparked, every connection made, and every learner who now sees science as something deeply human and innately theirs.

Join us at our last UK-based workshop in May!

“An absolutely brilliant class. I loved working with the metal clay - it's really forgiving, so if things didn't work out, it was easy to put right. A fantastic teacher, who had thought of everything, and was really helpful throughout, making a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for a creative session. Everyone made such amazing things! I love my pendants!”

“I attended a 'paint and sip' event to which I was thoroughly impressed!. Nadia was a more than welcoming host offering a blissful environment that all felt safe and relaxed from the get go. I had attended this event myself - and although some others there had gone as a group, the full session had everyone talking with each other and had a really great vibe. It is the first time I've been to such an event like this, as I've never really established myself as an artist, though the freedom to express emotions, thoughts and interpretations was fun!”
